We literally have 1 million things on our "to-do" list at this point, but I surprisingly have an overwhelming feeling of peace...and confidence that we will be as ready as we'll ever be by the time we board the plane! I am slightly nervous about how we will ALL do on the 16 hour flight from Washington, DC, straight to Ethiopia, so please be in prayer that Jeff and I can sleep at least most of the way there and that Judah can sleep most of the way back!
Also, our care package made it to Ethiopia and look who is now in Judah's crib :-)

ReplyDeleteWe might be there at the same time. We have our MOWA date this Friday and if all goes well then Gladney thinks our court date will be on the 19th. Sadly we won't be bringing our guy home but we will get to meet him. Perhaps we'll meet you guys in Addis!! :) Congrats on getting everything booked!!

ReplyDeleteGinger and Jeff! I am so reminded of Psalm 30:5 when I read through your journey..."The Lord's favor is for Life. Weeping may come for a night, but joy always comes in the morning." I am so thankful that God has chosen to ordain this gift for your family! Adoption truly is a miracle! I pray for traveling mercy and and a sleepy baby on the flight home. Jude will teach you things about yourself you never thought were possible...the most impossible love! I love you guys! He is beautiful!
